We went to Linda's grandmother's birthday today - Violet's first meeting with her great grandmother. Four generations of women from Linda's family in one room!
I am so happy that my children have gotten to spend so much time with their great grandparents. I totally take it for granted, but I realize that they are lucky to have known them for as long as they have. When I think of Grandma Michalek, I am sad that Jeff and the kids never got to meet that colorful woman who so shaped my life :)
I have a photo of my grandfather, my dad, me, and the girls..........it means a lot to me! The Lambert's all together dated in 2001!

ReplyDeleteAmazing!
ReplyDeleteThat is priceless! I just love Violet's side profile and fuzzy hair!
ReplyDeleteAnonymous - I felt a littel foolish not realizing it at first. Linda's mom was the one who pointed it out. Boy, I'm glad she did!
ReplyDeleteAmy Lv - too cute, right? I wish I had taken some close ups!
ReplyDeleteJane - Me, too - so much. I really wish Linda could've met her, I think they would've hit it off. Thanks for the great comment!
ReplyDeleteAmy K - I thought the picture was a little unflattering, but Linda said that Violet looks cute from every angle, so I put it up.
