"From now on, maybe you'd better burp her while sitting down."<br /><br />S Whale - Thank you very much - that means a lot coming from you.Bill Mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09886443968740543025noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3850994802687070206.post-51421688882479175292011-01-31T17:30:53.247-05:002011-01-31T17:30:53.247-05:00Eleanor has drove her bike down our stairs, banged...Eleanor has drove her bike down our stairs, banged her head against the corner of a coffee table, and swallowed the head of a toothbrush. Imogene has already had her first set of stitches on her face before she turned three. The moral: Babies are resilient. People have been "dropping" them for thousands of year and yet the population keeps growing. Your a great dad. Don't beat yourself up when she takes her first big spill on your watch or if you happen to let her slip from your loving arms. Keep doing what you know to do and just fake the rest. You're doing great. The Subversive Whalehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05763617744042720231noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3850994802687070206.post-88728041004737774502011-01-31T11:30:54.868-05:002011-01-31T11:30:54.868-05:00Oh, how those childhood memories stick with us.
O...Oh, how those childhood memories stick with us.<br /><br />On the up side, however, your post reminded me of getting together with my college girlfriends where conversation is open and free. I recall a conversation where we all shared "dropping the baby" stories; some almost, and some all the way (and we are adult parents!) Luckily, no horrendous consequences. Whew!Amy BGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14798479131474759065noreply@blogger.com
